Spring has Sprung!
Finally! Out in Texas, we're not used to all of this cold. This is probably the first year since I moved out here that we experienced all four seasons. We even had snow! Needless to say, we're quite thankful for the warming weather.

It's lovely to sit out on our back porch and look up at our backyard neighbor's flowering Prunus Mexicana tree. Maybe one day I'll plant one for our yard.

I used to live in NY state, but moved to Texas in May (one week before the 100 degree weather started!), so it was a pleasant surprise to have snow and all four seasons- it sort of eased us into Texas climate a bit more than we expected. All of our friends and family in NY are quite jealous of our springtime weather- though they're looking forward to 60 degrees later this week!
